They are typically the same as the barriers to entry within the domestic market, plus:
- Ignorance of local laws and customs
- Lack of language skills
- Lack of direct contact
xenophobia, tariffs, lack of local contacts, not knowing who or when to bribe, not knowing local customs and ways of doing business, are good starters.
